BPI's Annual Fundraiser

Each fall, we host our annual fundraiser to encourage the community to use their time, talent, and treasure to strengthen Black communities in Forsyth County. While we were eager to gather in person and hopeful that it will happen again in 2022, we’re making safety a priority and planning a fun and uplifting virtual celebrationthat you won’t want to miss.  Save the date for our virtual event on Wednesday, October 27 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM.

In the face of immense challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic and forced to separate from one another, our community has demonstrated that we will continue to powerfully show up for Black-led organizations. Our grantee partners are on the frontlines of our communities, listening and responding to the most pressing needs. We remain confident in the power of joining together and building a better, more equitable future for Black people, families, and communities.

This event will bring together BPI’s supporters, sponsors, and partners with a common purpose: celebrating and strengthening our growing Black philanthropy movement. We have a renewed commitment to creating a future where everyone can thrive and have set a goal of raising at least $35,000 to fund this essential work. Attendees will learn how they can get more involved as a BPI volunteer, committee member, and white ally, and more.

Right now, we need all hands on deck to emerge from this crisis stronger than before. And we invite you join us in solidarity and support to help us respond in these critical rebuilding years.
